Hi - I'm Sara, and I'm so glad you're here.
I have a bachelors in BioMed, I’m a Nutritional Therapy Practitioner (NTP™), certified by the Nutritional Therapy Association® and certified as a Specialist in Prenatal Nutrition through the Institute for Prenatal Nutrition.
Most of my adult life, I was a ‘Type A’, hustle culture, corporate working, carb counting, intense workout ‘health nut’.
After I had my daughter, I forced everything to try to be healthy (because calories in vs calories out, right?!), but I could never really move the needle. I felt like I was burning the candle at both ends.
Everything I had put my body through (plus a bit of genetics) had led to –>
- Low energy
- Anxiety
- Weight loss resistance
- Fasting blood sugar that was creeping up into the ‘abnormal range’
- Insulin resistance
…and the BRAIN FOG…not a good combo.
I took SO many courses, and have hired many mentors…
I started to apply bits of what I learned from all of those who came before me:
